People and Culture Council

Mission/Charge

The People and Culture Council is a venue for participatory decision-making related to policies, procedures and the strategic issues specific to organizational health and employee support. These may include (but are not limited to) employee retention and climate, employee on-boarding and training, and improving the effectiveness of CCC work processes.

Subcommittees

  • Organizational Learning: Promotes a culture of learning and innovation through staff development, knowledge management, and process improvement.
  • Policy: Oversees employee policies at the college, including policy creation, policy updates, and policy infrastructure.
  • Wellness: Attends to employee retention and engagement through recognition programs, employee wellness, and connection and belonging.

Committee Information

The People and Culture Council meets virtually the second Friday of October, November, January, February, April, and May, 1 – 2:30 PM each academic year.
