Return to Campus Task Force
Mission/Charge
The charge of the newly reconfigured Return to Campus Task Force is to modify, as needed, the existing Return to Campus Guide as CCC gradually increases the occupancy of our campus locations. The task force, composed of classified staff, faculty, and administrators, will listen and respond to the campus community regarding questions and observations related to gradually reopening the campus to instruction and activities and ensuring concerns are being addressed.
The task force will use the following guiding principles when making recommendations and decisions:
• Comply with federal, state, and county guidelines
• Take a moderate approach to return in the fall: Encourage more activity, but exercise reasonable caution
• Build toward a sustainable approach to reopening physical campuses by the end of the 2021-22 academic year
• Prioritize student success for any requests to return
• Ensure there is a physical presence on campus that can support and maintain a gradual reopening
