Teaching and Learning Council

Mission/Charge

The Teaching and Learning Council is charged with supporting high-quality equitable and relevant teaching and learning. This council is a venue for participatory decision-making related to policies, procedures, and strategic issues related to teaching and learning. These may include (but are not limited to) identifying and implementing best practices in teaching; identifying academic programs that respond to present and future community needs; prioritizing projects related to instructional technology and infrastructure (in collaboration with College Operations); and supporting program assessment efforts.

Committee Information

In 2025-2026, this council meets on the first Friday of each month (except January) from 2:00-3:30 p.m. In January, the meeting will be held on the second Friday of the month from 2:00-3:30 p.m.
